Four added to World University Games team

Four athletes have been added to the Athletics NZ team for the World University Games in Taipei, Taiwan starting on 23 August.


The addition of Aaron Booth (decathlon), Julia Ratcliffe (hammer), Rosa Flanagan (5000m) and Simon Rogers (1500m) brings the total team to 13.


US-based Ratcliffe who has been studying at Princeton University, is the most experienced in the team having been to the last two University Games, winning bronze in 2015 and silver at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
