14 times national champion Stuart Farquhar is heading into the Glasgow Commonwealth Games with a massive depth of experience. The three times Olympian has also represented New Zealand at four World Championships, and two World Junior Championships. His first Commonwealth Games was in Melbourne 2006 where he placed 7th and then went on to win the silver medal at the Dehli 2010 Games. Based in the Waikato with his wife and young children, he has earnt the title of “Mr Javelin New Zealand” having first thrown for New Zealand as a junior in 1998.
