Key Note Presentations from:

  • Koji Murofushi - Olympic & World Champion Hammer Thrower & Associate Proffessor at Chukyo University, Japan. Sports Director of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
  • Don BabbitThrows Coach at University of Georgia. Coach of Adam Nelson - Olympic & World Champion, Shot Put, Reese Hoffa (World Champion, Shot Put) & Breaux Greer (USA Record Holder, Javelin). 

Conference will include a mix of practical, theory and event-specific sessions. Athletes should come prepared to throw! Final schedule to be released on this page by the end of September.

The conference will commence with refreshments and an introduction on the evening of Friday 13th November at 7pm, in the Commonwealth Room at AUT Millennium. 

Morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner (Saturday only) will be provided, with the conference closing at approximately 2pm on Sunday. Shuttles to Auckland Airport will depart MISH at 3:00pm on Sunday so best to book flights with a 4:30pm departure or later.
