NOTE: Seven athletes went the wrong way in the junior event this year. Their teams have been disqualified and results have been corrected to reflect true placings.

EVENT RACE
Unregistered runners competing as sanctioned event athletes pay an additional fee per athlete of $10.00 per Adult (over grade 17) and $5.00 per Child (Grade 17 & under). 
Unregistered Athletes are those athletes not registered in the 2012/2013 season or those athletes not registered for the current 2013/2014 season at the time of this event.

 

The names of athletes are not required at this stage, just the number of teams in each grade.
e.g. Men 4 x 5km 3 teams, Girls 4 x 2.5km 2 teams etc

ENTRY FEE:           Entry fees, plus sanctiuoned event fee MUST be paid by race day
                              Girls and Boys 17 and under    -    $10.00 per team
                              All other teams  -          $25.00 per team

TEAM NAMES:          Names of teams are required AT LEAST 30 MINUTES before the grade 
                                starts. They must be handed in with the team numbers as allocated in the
                                programme, on a Club letterhead, in running order, to the computer caravan
                                Teams are liable for disqualification if the team order is changed without
                                consent.

RACE NUMBERS and Tags:   will be issued and MUST be returned to the computer caravan at end of event. 

DUTY CLUBS:            North Canterbury and Sumner clubs will be required to send at least 
                                 4 helpers each to assist with preparation of the course, marshalling and 
                                 tidying up after the races. 
                                 DUTY MEMBERS are to report to Pat Boland at 9.30am
