Welcome to the December issue of Athletics In Action.

This issue features Matt Baxter (senior boys 3000m champ) and Zoe Hobbs (junior girls 100m, 200m and long jump champ) at the recent NZ Secondary Schools Champs in Dunedin.

Other athletes in this issue include Matt Bloxham, who has been hammering records. Ben Langton-Burnell (javelin thrower) and Mary Davies (marathon runner) have also been successful in the PB department.

Athletics NZ is closing its Wellington National Office on Thursday 20 December 2012.  Over the holiday break the office will be transferred to Auckland. Some staff members will be located in Christchurch. The Auckland and Christchurch offices will reopen on Monday 14 January.
