Welcome to the December edition of Athletics in Action.
This issue features an interview with Joseph Millar, who took out the sprint double at the recent NZ Secondary Schools Athletics champs. Congratulations also to all the record holders at this meet, including world record holder Jacko Gill.
Other athletes featured in this edition are race walker Roseanne Robinson, marathon runner Sam Wreford and current women’s national half marathon champ Danielle Trevis.
Murray Fleming, the new organiser for Rotorua Marathon, provides his vision for the event and then we take off into Rotorua’s Whakarewarewa Forest with Steve O’Callaghan for this issue’s GREAT training run in NZ.
