Welcome to the December edition of Athletics in Action.

This issue features action from the recent NZ Secondary Schools Track and Field and Road Race Champs. Four champions from the meet are interviewed: Rebekah Greene,  Kodi Harman, Olivia Ritchie, and Rosa Flanagan.
 
On the international front there is an interview with Kim Smith, who is looking forward to the marathon at the London 2012 Olympics.

This time around the coaching profile is on Lorne Singer.

The Athletics NZ office in Wellington will be closed over Christmas. The office will close at midday on Friday 23 December and will reopen on Wednesday 4 January.
