Editorial Comment
Welcome to the March edition of Athletics in Action.

My sympathies go out to all those affected by the Christchurch earthquake. This issue features the Track Meet 4 Christchurch, a track and field meet put together by Olympic Silver medallist Nick Willis. It was excellent to see so many officials, athletes, volunteers, public and media supporting this meet last Saturday. And I am aware there are events all over the country being held in support of Christchurch.

A total of nine athletes feature in this edition: Rochelle Coster, Glen Ballam, Kate Horan, Michael Cochrane, Mikayla Nielsen, Hamish Carson, Sarah Biss and Sarah Cowley.

The Coaching Profile is on Wellington’s Tony Rogers, who gives us an insight to his coaching philosophy, while Greg Lautenslager writes about a great training run in the Nelson area.
