Welcome to this edition of Athletics in Action.
This issue features an article on Alex Jordan, who did a PB and an A standard qualifier for the World Juniors at the recent National Track and Field Championships held in Christchurch last weekend.
Angie Smit ran a big PB at the recent ITM in Christchurch – we have an interview with this up and coming middle distance runner. There's also a dual interview with Dawn Tuffery and Kerry Sutter who are both new comers to running ultra marathons.
There's also action from the recent World Cross Country Champs from Martin Macdonald.

The coaching profile is on Matt Dallow, one of the coaches recently named to take up positions supporting Athletics New Zealand's Rio 2016 Performance Project.
