The 2013 Athletics NZ Club Connect club conference and AGM will be held in Hamilton 2 - 4 August 2013.

Board Member Vacancies 2013

In 2010 Athletics New Zealand adopted a new constitution as part of its current change process and Strategic Plan. The Constitution mandates a Board of 4 elected and 3 appointed board members. A Board Appointments Panel consisting of a Board representative, a member representative and an independent are responsible for the identification, advertising and selection of appointed board members. The Board Appointments Panel also makes recommendation to the members at AGM for the elected board positions.
This year we have 1 appointed and 1 elected board vacancies. Board members whose current terms are expiring can re-stand. The successful applicant for the appointed position will be announced prior to 4July 2013. The remaining elected position will be voted upon at the AGM on 3 August 2013.
We are seeking individuals with experience in good governance, a commercial background, an interest in sport and a desire to support a leading National Sporting Organisation in a voluntary role.
